Job summary

Avion Hospitality Employee Services LLC in Houston, TX, seeks a Complimentary Attendant to deliver the highest quality service in the hotel’s complimentary food and beverage area. You will greet guests, seat them, help with menus, and ensure clean, well-stocked spaces in a fast-paced environment.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to work evenings and weekends, and demonstrate friendly hospitality, basic math, and the ability to read and write simple notes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet legal age to serve alcohol and pass TIPs or equivalent.
• Must obtain and provide Food Handlers card as required by local regulations.
• Ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure.
• Understanding of hotel products and guest services.
• Knowledge of menus, beverages and etiquette relevant to hotel service.
• Basic numerical skills for transactions and measurements.
• Strong guest relations and professional communication.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, friendly, courteous service to guests and employees.
• Maintain regular attendance and proper appearance as per hotel standards.
• Keep service areas clean, stocked and organized during shifts.
• Assist in beverage and food service, including coffee, tea and cocktails.
• Greet and seat guests, and manage dining room flow.
• Ensure menu cleanliness and presentation quality.
• Perform opening, closing and side-work duties as assigned.
• Communicate guest VIP needs to relevant departments.
• Handle cashiering tasks and end-of-shift paperwork.
• Attend management meetings or trainings as requested.
