Job summary

TEXAS WESTERN MANAGEMENT PARTNERS is seeking a Part-Time Buffet Attendant for their Residence Inn Houston West Energy Corridor location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining a buffet, ensuring cleanliness, and providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities include food display, inventory management, and responding to guest requests. Previous food and beverage experience is preferred. This position requires attention to detail and a professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Set up the buffet before guests begin arriving for breakfast.
• Display the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner.
• Clean area around buffet by wiping, sweeping, and/or mopping.
• Set out plates, cups, bowls, utensils, and napkins for guests to use.
• Prepare coffee and/or tea by established standards.
• Keep juices and other perishables chilled or on ice.
• Frequently check for low food supply and replenish as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the buffet area throughout the morning.
• Properly dispose of used plates, utensils, napkins, and/or cups.
• Remove and dispose of leftover food at the end of the breakfast shift.
• Ensure inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day's shift.
• Keep daily or weekly records of foods used and consumed.
• May be responsible for ordering additional food and/or supplies.
• Greet guests and accommodate special requests as needed.
• Provide a professional image at all times.
• Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.

• Clean area around buffet by wiping, sweeping, and/or mopping. May clean off tables prior to guest arrival.
• Set out plates, cups, bowls, utensils, and napkins for guests to use.
• Prepare coffee and/or tea by established standards.
• Keep juices and other perishables such as butter and yogurt chilled or on ice.
• Frequently check for low food supply. Efficiently replenish with food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the buffet area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying food area as necessary.
• Properly dispose of used plates, utensils, napkins and/or cups as necessary.
• Remove and dispose of leftover food at the end of the breakfast shift. Clean buffet area according to established standards.
• Ensure inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day's shift.
• Keep daily or weekly records of foods used and consumed (may be required).
• May be responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed.
• Greet guests and accommodate special requests as needed.
• Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
