Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hospitality, business and basic accounting principles.
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication, negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to prospect, present proposals and close new business.

Responsibilities

• Make personal visits to target areas and call on companies and associations.
• Book meetings, conferences, and social events from assigned areas.
• Dedicate majority of time to direct telephone sales and rework old accounts.
• Set up site inspections and follow through with leads.
• Attend trade shows and meetings to generate new business.
• Maintain relationships with corporate and association planners and hotel industry contacts.
