Job summary

Hireology seeks a Hotel General Manager in Hurricane, WV to oversee operations at our hospitality establishment. You will lead daily activities, ensure superior guest service, and drive profitability in collaboration with the corporate team.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence. Competitive salary of $50,000–$90,000 with biweekly pay, bonus opportunities, health benefits and PTO. Career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hotel management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand long hours.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives and financial goals set by the corporate team.
• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations: front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, F&B and other departments.
• Ensure high guest satisfaction and maintain service standards.
• Develop relationships with guests, suppliers and local community.
• Manage expenses within budget to maximize profitability.
• Recruit, train and manage a team, providing guidance as needed.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
• Review financial reports and implement revenue growth strategies.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures and regulations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and maintenance.
• Address guest complaints promptly and to their satisfaction.
• Stay current on industry trends and recommend improvements.
