Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a General Manager for the Margaritaville Savannah, GA property. Lead overall hotel operations, drive profitability, guest service, and quality standards while upholding company policies and procedures.

Responsibility includes guiding the Executive Committee, managing budgets, forecasting, staff development, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role requires strategic vision and hands-on leadership to elevate the property’s performance.

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Previous experience as General Manager or Assistant General Manager at a similar size and type of hotel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Executive Committee and communicate with department heads.
• Guide the committee to address problems in the hotel and protect financial interests.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget to meet revenues and profitability targets.
• Set quarterly department objectives and ensure implementation and corrective action.
• Forecast monthly staffing and operating costs and review major expenses.
• Foster staff relations, development, and open communication with hourly personnel.
• Conduct performance appraisals and develop management staff.
• Oversee wage/salary administration and annual pricing reviews.
• Maintain guest service standards and a proactive maintenance program.
• Represent the hotel in the community and ensure policies are followed.

Education

Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience

Previous GM experience at a similar size hotel
