Job summary

Savara Hospitality Inc. seeks a seasoned General Manager for a full-time role in Blowing Rock, NC. This position oversees the total operation of the property, drives guest satisfaction, and ensures financial objectives are met while maintaining cost and quality standards.

The GM will supervise Front Desk, F&B, Maintenance and Housekeeping, manage hiring and development, and coordinate with sister properties to optimize resources. Weekend, night, and holiday work are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of hotel or related management experience.
• Experience managing banquet and F&B operations.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day hotel operations across Front Desk, Maintenance, F&B, and Housekeeping to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee financial management including payroll, expenses and procurement.
• Maintain property assets and ensure safety and compliance.
• Hire and manage team members; assign roles and responsibilities.
• Drive guest relations to maintain high service standards and address concerns promptly.
• Coordinate resources across sister properties for efficiency.
• Enforce company policies and procedures; ensure training documentation is up-to-date.
