Job summary

Opal Hotels Group is seeking a General Manager in Blowing Rock, NC. As the hotel leader, you will coach a high-performing team, oversee daily operations, and drive guest satisfaction while maintaining brand standards.

You'll manage financial performance, budgets, and labor, partnering with Sales and Revenue to maximize occupancy and revenue. A hands-on leader is required to foster culture, accountability, and continuous improvement across the property.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel experience with at least 2 years of hotel leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable a high-performing hotel team.
• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations with strong visibility across the property.
• Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence, and compliance with brand standards.
• Manage hotel financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor, and expenses.
• Partner with Sales and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and revenue.
• Recruit, develop, engage, and retain hotel leaders and associates.
• Monitor performance, guest feedback, and market trends and act on insights.
