Job summary

Tru by Hilton Augusta GA is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily hotel operations, drive revenue and guest satisfaction, and manage all departments to Hilton standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory experience, a background in hotel accounting, and a proven ability to coach and develop staff while maintaining operational efficiency and a superb guest experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience managing six or more associates.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Five years’ experience in the hotel industry is preferred.
• Experience in accounting is preferred.
• Must display professionalism and have characteristics of honesty and trustworthiness.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Must have a valid driver's license from the applicable state.
• Knowledge in Housekeeping, Maintenance, and a Food & Beverage operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and develop the hotel staff.
• Maintain safety and security practices and emergency procedures.
• Manage all hotel areas to meet revenue, profit, and guest satisfaction targets.
• Ensure high quality product and service.
• Complete administrative duties: schedules, payroll, inventories, orders.
• Stay within budget and labor models.
• Communicate using logs and internal email.
