Job summary

Peachtree Group seeks a General Manager to lead all hotel operations with a focus on guest satisfaction, financial performance, and staff development. You’ll drive strategic planning across departments, uphold brand standards, and collaborate with regional teams to optimize results.

You will oversee P&L, payroll, and reporting while fostering a culture of excellence, mentorship, and community involvement. A strong hospitality background and leadership presence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current/prior hotel general manager experience and/or 3+ years hotel rooms/operations and/or sales leadership experience within major brands (Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, etc.).
• Ability to defuse distressed associates, guests resulting in the best outcome to the situation.
• Ability to learn systems technology.
• Displays professionalism and self-management.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Hospitality certifications; CHA, CHRM, CHSP, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments to maximize operations and guest satisfaction.
• Champion brand and company reputation to exceed performance standards.
• Contribute to financial forecasts and budgets.
• Analyze monthly P&L statements with regional accounting and operations teams.
• Optimize revenues (room, F&B) to maximize profitability.
• Provide training, development, coaching, and mentorship to staff.
• Recruit top talent through internal and external channels.
• Attend weekly revenue meetings with the regional revenue team.
• Report as required by company, brand, or other requests.
• Engage in local community through volunteer work.
• Manage hotel-specific accounting duties including payroll with timeliness and accuracy.
