Job summary

Shamin Hotels is hiring a Front Desk Supervisor for the Hampton Inn North Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time role oversees daily front desk operations to ensure guests receive a warm welcome and a seamless stay.

You will supervise guest service staff, manage check-in/check-out, guest billing, and train associates to meet service standards. The position also involves serving as Manager on Duty and handling daily operations with brand-aligned leadership.

Position Overview

The Front Desk Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and a seamless stay. You'll lead and support the guest service team, resolve guest concerns, and serve as Manager on Duty during your assigned shift.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervises front desk personnel, including guest service agents and night auditors, during the assigned shift.
• Oversees check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest billing for accuracy.
• Resolves guest concerns and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Trains, coaches, and supports front desk associates to meet brand and service standards.
• Serves as Manager on Duty, overseeing hotel operations during the assigned shift.
• Handles cash and credit transactions and maintains accurate shift banks.
• Ensures Hilton brand standards and Shamin Hotels service expectations are met.
• Supports the Front Office Manager with reporting and daily operations.
• Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
• Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
