A leading hotel in Rockport is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join their guest services team. This role involves welcoming guests, managing their accounts, and ensuring a pleasant stay. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication and time management skills, with a strong focus on customer service. The position may be seasonal or year-round, with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.

You’ll welcome guests, manage their account information, and ensure they have everything they need for an exceptional stay. Strong communication skills, friendliness, knowledge of the surrounding area, and great time management are desired for this position. The ability to work independently, yet as part of the team is also a requirement. Shifts would vary through the week, mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Weekends and holidays are required. Front Desk would be starting in June, and be a seasonal job, or year round. Responsibilities: • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers • Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready • Mitigate customer complaints as needed • General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date Qualifications: • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills • Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations • At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred Compensation: $18 hourly
