AC Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk is seeking a Front Desk Manager to lead the Front Office operations with a focus on guest service, efficiency, and revenue optimization. You will supervise Front Desk staff, coach team members, and ensure adherence to Avion Hospitality SOPs and brand standards.

The role requires strong communication, financial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic hotel environment, while maintaining guest satisfaction and smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive hotel experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must convey information clearly and evaluate options quickly.
• Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
• Strong financial acumen and payroll awareness.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests, problems, and complaints with courteous, efficient service.
• Motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline Front Desk personnel per SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with brand and Avion Hospitality training standards.
• Conduct Front Desk interviews and follow hiring procedures.
• Perform 90-day and annual performance appraisals for Front Desk staff.
• Maximize room revenue and occupancy by monitoring status daily and rate efficiency.
• Oversee Night Audit and payroll-related reporting and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare employee schedules and wage progress reports weekly.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and AVION SOPs for payments.
