Job summary

Omni La Mansion del Rio, located in downtown San Antonio, seeks an Assistant Front Office Manager to oversee evening operations and coordinate with the Director of Front Office and night staff.

You will ensure efficient check-in/check-out processes, handle guest concerns, train associates, and maintain Omni Standards across the front desk and related areas. Strong communication and hospitality focus are required.

Qualifications

• Previous luxury hotel experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Customer service oriented with multitasking and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related computer programs.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle all training with associates to ensure Omni Standards.
• Communicate with all department managers on a continuing basis, especially with Night Audit.
• Address guest complaints to maintain a satisfactory guest experience.
• Be familiar with the hotel computer system for training, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Complete weekly supply inventories and ensure adequate pars.
• Prepare group information sheets and balance reports.
• Complete rate discrepancy reports and make changes as needed.
• Block and assign arrivals for the following day including VIPs and special requests.
• Adhere to Front Office systems and controls and train staff accordingly.
• Collaborate with Marketing Programs and Loyalty initiatives to service select guests.
