Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, part of Averill Hospitality, seeks a College Intern to assist the Hotel Team with front desk operations and guest services. You will learn property systems, communicate amenities, and help resolve guest needs from arrival to departure.

The role emphasizes effective communication, teamwork, and reliability, with shift flexibility including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support guest satisfaction at this AAA Four Diamond resort.

Qualifications

• Business degree an asset but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospitality an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist in front desk duties including guest concerns, checklists, and folios.
• Utilize resort software and office suites for scheduling and communications.
• Support housekeeping, concierge, and guest services interactions as needed.
• Maintain logs, information binders, schedules, and inventory records.
• Remain flexible with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
