Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, part of Averill Hospitality, seeks a Valet Attendant to join our Guest Services Team in Whitefish, MT. The role starts at $16 hourly plus tips and involves greeting guests, escorting to rooms, baggage handling, and delivering five-star service.

Requirements include high school or equivalent, at least 18 with a valid driver's license and 2 years in hospitality. The position offers full-time year-round hours, benefits, and opportunities to experience a premier Montana

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospitality industry.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.
• The schedule requires a 5-day week with up to 50 hours; evenings, weekends and holidays may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as host/hostess to arriving and departing guests with enthusiasm.
• Escort guests to rooms and handle baggage transfers; accommodate special requests.
• Perform duties during guest departures and as business needs dictate.
• Operate as valet attendant when required.
• Be a team player with hotel staff and represent the hotel professionally.
• Know hotel rooms, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management; write clearly when needed.
• Abide by Averill Hospitality policies and operate office equipment and software.
