Job summary

Shamin Hotels, Inc. is seeking a friendly, organized Front Desk Agent to join our two-brand team in downtown Richmond. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins/outs, reservations, and local recommendations with a smile.

This part-time role offers exposure to Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites operations, opportunities to learn two hotel brands, and a fast-paced, guest-focused environment in the heart of the city.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and handle check-ins and check-outs with accuracy and a friendly smile.
• Make, update, and confirm reservations.
• Answer calls and questions about hotel amenities, services, and the surrounding area.
• Share recommendations for Richmond dining, attractions, and entertainment.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to communicate room readiness and guest requests.
• Listen to guest concerns, help find solutions, and involve leadership when needed.
• Protect guest privacy and follow hotel security procedures.
• Keep the front desk organized and support your teammates across both properties.
