Job summary

The LINQ Hotel at Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas seeks a Front Desk Clerk - Steady Extra to manage check-ins and check-outs, answer guest questions, and resolve issues with a positive, guest-centered approach. You will register guests, assign rooms, and handle reservations per hotel policies.

Required are 18+ years old, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in a second language would be beneficial.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability.
• Preferred one year experience in front desk or guest service; 6 months computer knowledge; Team Player.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; heavy telephone volume; must tolerate secondary smoke.
• Must be able to complete several tasks at once with accuracy; must be able to stand for entire shift (8-hour shift).

Responsibilities

• Process check-in and check-out transactions for guests
• Assist guests with questions about the city and property
• Assist guests with booking dinner, show, etc. when necessary
• Assists with guest service recovery when possible
• Always maintains an upbeat and positive attitude
• Be aware of current hotel events and assist guests accordingly
• Act as a liaison to expedite guest requests
• Maintain professional and courteous attitude toward all guests
• Anticipate guests' needs and expectations
• Greet guests, handle inquiries, cashiering, and keep stations stocked
