Job summary

The Courtyard Lincoln by Marriott is seeking a Front Desk Guest Service Representative to join the Front Desk team as a Full-Time member. You will greet guests, handle check-in/out, take reservations, and provide information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions from the Providence Lincoln area.

The role offers weekend night shifts (Friday and Saturday, 11PM–7AM with a shift differential) and Wednesday/Thursday 3PM–11PM, plus a benefits package including paid weekly, 401(k)

Qualifications

• High School or better.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests, complete the check-in/check-out procedure through the Property Management System while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handles cash, credit card information and goods at the property.
• Identifying the needs of each guest and provide information regarding the hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers and updating/cancelling reservations in the system.

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Guest Service Representative to join our Front Desk team! The Courtyard® by Marriott -Providence Lincoln is situated minutes from Twin River Casino, Bryant University and Kirkbrae Country Club, and is only 9 miles from everything Downtown Providence has to offer. With 129 beautifully appointed guest rooms, we also have our onsite Bistro Restaurant & Bar which provides healthy breakfast, Starbucks® products and evening dining with a full bar. The Courtyard by Marriott is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

The Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, and provides superior service to all guests. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests, complete the check- in/ check-out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handles cash, credit card information and goods at the property
• Identifying the needs of each guest and provides relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities, to create an accommodating environment for all. Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers while providing excellence in service and inputs all information into the hotel management system. Updates and cancels reservations in the system as requested by the guest.

This is a Full-Time position. Hours for the position are: Friday and Saturday, 11PM -7AM (Shift differential bonus!) and Wednesday and Thursday, 3PM-11PM.
