Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year serving experience; high-volume sports/live entertainment bar experience preferred.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TIPS – or obtain upon hire.
• Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer; experience selling and presenting cocktails.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Clear and pleasant English communication with guests and team.
• Ability to input information into MICROS accurately.
• Handle stressful situations calmly and maintain a welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work cohesively with colleagues and manage guest requests quickly.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon entry with a smile and provide superior service.
• Take orders, answer questions, and upsell food and beverage items.
• Coordinate with culinary team on meal requirements and allergies.
• Record transactions in MICROS and maintain cash handling standards.
• Ensure table set-up, cleanliness, and timely service from station setup to break-down.
• Protect the hotel from liability by avoiding over-serving guests.
• Deliver service in alignment with Omni Moments of Service Standards.
