Job summary

Miraval/Hyatt seeks a Director of Hotel Financial Operations to lead the finance and accounting functions for the property, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and alignment with Hyatt standards.

The role partners with hotel leadership and the Area Director of Finance to drive profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiency across the on-property Accounting Department.

Qualifications

• Requires hospitality or accounting degree.
• 2+ years progressive accounting experience, preferably in hotel.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.
• Proficiency with hospitality systems (Opera/PMS).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hotel's financial reporting and accounting functions.
• Direct the monthly financial close and GL reconciliations.
• Oversee preparation and submission of financial reports per Hyatt standards.
• Review results, analyze variances and provide commentary on performance.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, and cash management.
• Oversee systems administration and process improvements.
