Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead the hotel's engineering department and oversee maintenance, repair, and operation of all building systems.

You will manage preventative maintenance programs, coordinate capital projects, ensure life safety and ADA compliance, and drive budgeting, vendor contracts, and environmental initiatives across the property.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of leadership experience in facilities management.
• Experience in organizing, implementing, and maintaining a preventative maintenance tracking system and work order system.
• Experience coordinating hospitality capital improvement projects (public areas and guestrooms renovations, FF&E repair)
• Firm understanding of Federal, State and local codes as they apply to facilities management
• Extensive knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, roofs, energy management and preventative maintenance programs
• Strong mathematical skills to complete reports, financial statements and forecasting
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hotel facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Manage adequate inventory of parts, supplies, tools and materials for the department.
• Respond to emergency situations such as fire alarms and life-safety events.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, local codes and regulations.
• Conduct walk-throughs and assess maintenance and operation of building systems.
• Verify completion of routine maintenance and repairs in public spaces and back-of-house areas.
• Oversee contracts with consultants and contractors.
• Prepare annual operating budget for payroll, expenses, utilities, and capital improvements.
• Direct ADA compliance efforts of the property.
