Job summary

PUBLIC is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance of the hotel facility, including structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC and life-safety systems. The role partners with the Director of Engineering to ensure efficient operations, safety compliance and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring energy conservation programs are followed in all areas of the property.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations knowledge.
• Experience in hotel maintenance and operations preferred.
• Ability to manage maintenance staff and coordinate with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Join the Director of Engineering to inspect and maintain hotel facilities and systems.
• Ensure life safety equipment is inspected and operational.
• Perform general repairs as directed and train in safety and engineering systems.
• Record repairs and oversee payroll and schedules for the department.
• Respond to guest requests with hospitality and professionalism.
