Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management operates Hilton Southlake, a premier property in North America, and seeks a Maintenance Engineer responsible for preventive and repair work on mechanical/electrical systems across the hotel.

The role covers maintenance of FF&E, grounds, and pool areas, with shifts across a 24/7 operation. Candidates should have broad experience in multiple trades and a strong commitment to safety and guest service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical/electrical malfunctions.
• Willingness to follow safety and security procedures.
• Equipped to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic plans or diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunction in mechanical or electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing) and other equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule, e.g., room care.
• Maintains pool area: chemicals and filters; logs maintenance requests.
• Cares for building exterior and curb appeal: lawn, painting, landscaping.
• Follows all hotel policies, safety, and security procedures.
• Assists other engineering staff as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
