Job summary

Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin seeks a proactive Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations across the restaurant, bar, lounge, and banquet spaces. You will lead by example to deliver consistent guest experiences, maintain service standards, and support team development in a fast-paced, guest-centric setting.

You will coordinate scheduling, training, inventory, and cost-control efforts while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of food and beverage leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and bar operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of restaurant, bar, lounge, and banquet venues.
• Lead and motivate F&B team to achieve service excellence.
• Ensure prompt, friendly, professional service at all times.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and onboarding.
• Monitor service standards and Hyatt brand compliance.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery promptly.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate goals.
• Support inventory management, ordering, receiving, and cost-control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor cash handling and POS accuracy.
• Collaborate with culinary and hotel departments on events.
• Assist management in achieving financial and guest-satisfaction goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of F&B outlets.
