Job summary

Hyatt is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to lead the Food & Beverage team at Thompson Austin, ensuring smooth shifts and exceptional guest service. You will liaison between culinary and restaurant operations and support senior leadership with training, scheduling and interviewing.

You will train and develop staff, oversee compliance with brand standards, and ensure safety, sanitation, and liquor laws are followed, contributing to overall outlet performance.

Qualifications

• Desire to meet and exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal communication abilities to interact with guests and team members.
• Must have the stamina to lift moderate weights as needed.
• Serve alcohol responsibly and promptly report any concerns to management.
• Strong understanding of food, wine, spirits and beer.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Food & Beverage team during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and guest service.
• Delegate tasks effectively and provide hands-on assistance as needed.
• Oversee the restaurant and bar, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
• Assist in training and developing team members.
• Ensure adherence to hotel security, fire regulations, and health & safety laws.
• Maintain compliance with state food handling and liquor laws.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of outlets.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, specials, and offerings.
• Assist in planning and executing special events and private functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
