Job summary

Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin is seeking a passionate and experienced Front Office Supervisor to oversee daily guest services operations, lead the front office team, and deliver memorable guest experiences.

The successful candidate will excel in problem-solving, communication, and building relationships with guests and colleagues, while ensuring adherence to brand standards and driving service excellence across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily front office operations and shift activities, ensuring all team members consistently adhere to established standards, policies, and operating procedures.
• Train, mentor, and direct front desk team members, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and support to maintain exceptional service standards and operational efficiency.
• Effectively resolve guest concerns, complaints, and service issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and a positive hotel experience.
• Build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with all hotel departments, including Housekeeping, Reservations, Engineering, and Food & Beverage, to ensure seamless guest service and operational excellence.
• Oversee and accurately manage front desk cash transactions, maintaining accountability for assigned cash banks and ensuring compliance with hotel cash-handling and bank agreement policies.
• Assist in monitoring front desk performance, ensuring team productivity, service quality, and adherence to brand and hotel standards.
• Support the Front Office Manager in achieving departmental goals, guest satisfaction targets, and overall hotel objectives.
