Sherman Associates is seeking a part-time Server for the Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis in the Mill District. You will work behind the bar area, taking and filling orders, greeting guests, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Formación

• Experience in hotel/hospitality or related service industry is strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment.
• Must be able to pass required Alcohol service training.
• A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates.
• Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel.

Responsabilidades

• Serves multiple tables and handles orders as directed by management.
• Understands Room Service, Club Lounge, Banquet and Restaurant menus.
• Takes and fills customer orders.
• Upsells alcohol and food items.
• Uses the computer to ring orders and guest checks.
• Interacts with guests in a friendly, fast manner.
• Accepts different types of payments and makes accurate change.
• Maintains side-work and restaurant cleanliness and smooth operation.
• Clears and resets tables quickly.
• Checks IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
• If customers should not drive, offers alternatives or calls for assistance.
• Knows when to escalate to management.
• Completes other tasks as needed.
