Job summary

Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis in the Mill District is hiring a part-time Food & Beverage server to enhance guest experiences. You will serve across room service, club lounge, banquet and restaurant menus, taking orders, upselling items, and ensuring smooth service.

The role requires friendliness, professionalism, strong communication, the ability to juggle priorities, and adherence to alcohol service training. The schedule includes 3-4 evenings per week, with $16.37 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel/hospitality or related service industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-lingual environment.
• Must be able to pass required Alcohol service training.

Responsibilities

• Serves multiple tables, as determined by management.
• Takes and fills customer orders and upsells alcohol and food items.
• Uses the computer to ring orders and guest checks; maintains cleanliness.
• Checks IDs to ensure legal alcohol service; handles payments and provides friendly service.
