Job summary

Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis Mill District, operated by Sherman Associates, seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer. The role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will handle preventive maintenance, respond to work orders within 24 hours, and assist in budgeting and vendor coordination while upholding safety and quality standards. This part-time position covers Mon/Tue/Sat shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related carpentry/construction.
• 2+ language environment capability is preferred.
• Boilers license or willingness to obtain one, if applicable.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) is a plus, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and upkeep of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting.
