Hyatt Hotels Corporation at Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk seeks an Event Sales Manager to lead local catering sales for weddings, galas and corporate events. You will maximize banquet space, conduct tours and tastings, plan menus, and coordinate with hotel staff to ensure flawless events.

The role requires hands-on involvement on-site, with a focus on client relations, negotiation, and delivering exceptional service to guests and planners in the San Antonio market.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hotel event sales/ planning experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years of hotel and/or F&B experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and contract interpretation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Capture local catering business (weddings, galas, social and corporate events).
• Maximize banquet space to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Conduct hotel tours, tastings, menu planning, and agenda setting.
• Review contracts and coordinate communication before, during and after events with hotel staff and clients.
