Job summary

InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk is seeking a Conference Services Manager to coordinate all conferences, meetings and group functions booked through catering sales. You will negotiate pricing, confirm requirements in writing, and work with the sales team to service and solicit new business.

The role involves upselling events, managing space and blocks, and collaborating with hotel departments to deliver exceptional service. Fluency in English and luxury-hotel experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must speak fluent English.
• Some College plus 1-2 years catering sales or marketing related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate food and beverage prices, function space, and hotel services within approved guidelines.
• Confirm group requirements in writing via contracts and BEOs.
• Coordinate with sales team to service and solicit new business.
• Upsell client events and manage function space and room blocks.
• Assist in implementing the hotel’s catering and conference strategy.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill services.
• Welcome group contacts and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow up with clients to secure future bookings.
