Job summary

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English and work with a professional demeanor.
• Experience in maintaining hotel mechanical/electrical systems is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and evaluate staff; address performance and conduct.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical/electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Assist with hotel renovation and construction phases.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with department heads to address maintenance needs promptly.
• Service the hotel pool, adjust chemicals and maintain logs.
• Maintain exterior and curb appeal; manage grounds and painting as needed.
• Ensure franchise standards and follow-up on inspections.
• Coordinate service contracts and Crescent’s preventive maintenance programs.
• Support annual Capital Plan development and Safety initiatives.
