Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hotel engineering or maintenance management experience.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and energy controls.
• Experience managing staff and contractors, including hiring and evaluations.
• Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and purchasing.
• Excellent problem-solving and emergency handling abilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Clear communication and collaboration with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations including HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff and contractors; hire, train, schedule, evaluate.
• Develop and manage maintenance projects and bids with architects/contractors.
• Monitor energy consumption and manage efficiency.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Security on operations and safety.
• Develop and manage maintenance programs for rooms, public spaces, and equipment.
• Perform inventory management, purchasing, and budget development.
