Qualifications

• 2–4 years in hotel engineering or maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and energy controls.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff and contractors.
• Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and purchasing.
• Excellent problem-solving and emergency response abilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate across departments and with vendors.
• Must be CPO certified or willing to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations across hotel systems (refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Supervise maintenance staff and contracted services to standards.
• Monitor and manage energy consumption for efficiency.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Security on key control and safety.
• Assist with project planning, bids, and liaise with architects/contractors.
• Manage maintenance contracts, landscaping, and snow removal as needed.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and budgets.
