Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and energy controls.
• Experience managing staff and contractors, including hiring and training.
• Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and purchasing for maintenance operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to handle emergencies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in project planning.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments, vendors, and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times.
• Supervise maintenance operations across HVAC, lighting, water, and safety systems.
• Monitor energy consumption for efficiency and cost control.
• Oversee contracted services to meet hotel standards and guest expectations.
• Supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance projects per specifications.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Security on operations and safety procedures.
• Assist with project planning and coordination with architects and contractors.
• Manage maintenance agreements and contracts, including landscaping and snow removal.
• Develop and maintain maintenance programs for guest rooms and public spaces.
• Perform inventory management, purchasing duties, and budget development.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces; attend meetings.
