Stonebridge Companies in Ingleside, CA is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee hotel maintenance, ensuring refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and energy systems operate efficiently to support guest comfort and hotel operations.

You will lead maintenance staff and contractors, plan and budget programs, enforce safety standards, and coordinate with other departments to meet guest satisfaction standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in hotel engineering or maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and energy controls.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance staff and contractors, including hiring and training.
• Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and purchasing for maintenance operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergencies.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional guest service at all times.
• Supervise maintenance operations and systems to ensure uptime.
• Monitor energy usage for efficiency and cost savings.
• Oversee contracted services to meet hotel standards.
• Lead maintenance staff, including hiring and scheduling.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance projects per specs.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Security on operations and safety.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets and programs.
