Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa is seeking an Engineering Lead to manage daily operations, supervise engineering staff, and coordinate preventive maintenance and safety programs. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and strong leadership to ensure uptime and guest safety.

You will work closely with the Chief Engineer, oversee energy usage, and manage on-site emergencies with a focus on service quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Lead or supervisory experience in a hotel or commercial building.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
• EPA Universal (608) certification preferred; CPO preferred.
• Knowledge of fire alarm, life safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and use test equipment.
• Experience with CMMS or preventive maintenance systems.

Responsabilités

• Assist Chief Engineer and act as dept. head in their absence.
• Serve as MOD and participate in leadership rotation.
• Monitor equipment status, work orders, vendors and safety concerns.
• Assist in budget development, PM program scheduling and audits.
• Supervise scheduling and training of engineering staff.
• Respond to emergencies on-site or by phone, including after-hours.
