Job summary

Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer to service and maintain hotel systems and equipment. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchens, and general building infrastructure, ensuring safety and reliability throughout the property.

You will respond quickly to service calls, complete work orders, and coordinate with supervisors. Strong communication and a proactive work ethic are essential for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a busy hotel

Qualifications

• Must have hotel engineering experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen and building trades.
• State certification or licensure where required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within 30 minutes.
• Complete and document work orders daily.
• Maintain pools, filters, pumps, and related equipment.
• Adjust televisions and program boxes as needed.
• Change light bulbs and ballasts promptly.
• Replace air filters on HVAC units regularly.
• Repair vacuums and return to service within 2 days.
• Keep grounds, garages and parking areas clean.
