Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in hotel or similar setting.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide staff and interact with guests.
• Certifications such as CPO, HVAC, boiler, Serve Safe desirable or ability to obtain them.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, guest service recovery, asset protection, and procurement.
• Manage department budget and ensure profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate scheduling.
• Ensure safety compliance and cost controls to reduce waste.
• Identify training opportunities and mentor staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure excellent service.
• Maintain facility equipment and facilities in good repair.
• Respond to equipment issues promptly and implement cost-saving measures.
