Job summary

Nara Hotels is seeking a Director of Facilities to own engineering, preventive maintenance and the capital program across every hotel in the portfolio. You will set one engineering standard for all properties, run renovations and brand projects end to end, and lead the property engineering teams through their chief engineers.

You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with General Managers, the operations leadership and the acquisitions team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in hotel engineering with 3+ years as Chief Engineer or in corporate roles.
• Delivered branded PIP or renovations of $2M+ end to end.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, elevators, pools and life-safety systems; Cal/OSHA.
• Experience with Hilton, Hyatt, IHG or Marriott brand standards; QA inspections and CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering, preventive maintenance and capital program across every hotel.
• Set one engineering standard for all hotels; lead renovations end to end.
• Lead property engineering teams through chief engineers; hire and train.
• Report monthly to ownership on capital spend, project status and KPIs.
