Job summary

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Engineering Manager to supervise the Engineering Department under the Regional Director and General Manager. You will oversee equipment, systems, and building components, and lead daily operations.

Requirements include 4+ years in hotel maintenance/engineering with 2+ years in management, high-rise fire safety and related certifications, and proficiency in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, and reading

Qualifications

4+ years hotel maintenance/engineering experience, with 2+ years in management.
High-rise Fire Safety, CFC, and chemical testing certifications.
Proficient in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, locksmith, refrigeration, welding, boiler maintenance, chillers, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

Supervise the Engineering Department under the Regional Director and General Manager.
Maintain all equipment, systems, and building components.
Lead daily operations and decision-making for property engineering teams.
Lead staff through evaluations, meetings, trainings, and safety programs.
Maintain logs, paperwork, and relationships with vendors and internal departments.
