Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive hotel or building management experience, typically with Hyatt
• Senior role within facility management experience
• Hotel pre-opening experience preferred
• Service oriented with professional presentation skills
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and negotiate revisions with vendors, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Requisition supplies and materials for construction projects
• Coordinate with owners, contractors and design professionals on work procedures and issues
• Explain plans and contract terms to staff, workers, and clients
• Plan and direct maintenance of structures, facilities and systems
• Prepare budget estimates and cost tracking reports
• Develop and implement quality control programs
• Inspect projects for compliance with codes and regulations
• Liaise with building code officials and community design committees as needed
• Manage utility systems and oversee equipment purchasing
• Maintain communications with Corporate Staff
• Coach employees to Hyatt service standards
