Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Director of Engineering for a property. The role is highly visible with exposure to Senior and Corporate leadership and reports to the General Manager. Responsibilities include maintaining maintenance department operations, safety, and capital projects.

Candidate should have extensive facilities management experience and strong leadership. Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, safety training, and coordinating with corporate maintenance on

Qualifications

• 6+ years in hotel or building management, preferably with Hyatt.
• Experience with opening hotels preferred.
• Service-oriented with professional presentation skills.
• Strong leadership in a senior facility role.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Review contracts and negotiate revisions with vendors and contractors.
• Plan and direct maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
• Prepare budgets and cost tracking reports.
• Inspect projects for safety and code compliance.
• Coach and counsel employees to Hyatt standards.
• Communicate with Corporate Staff.
