Job summary

Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team and oversee preventive maintenance across the property, utilities, and life safety systems. You will manage capital projects, ensure compliance with codes, and maintain the physical plant, FF&E, and grounds to brand standards.

Experience in hotel operations, strong leadership, and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience at a comparable location.
• Knowledge of hotel/large facility maintenance and safety standards.
• Budgeting, planning and PM program knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all property and equipment preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor life safety systems, utilities, and capital projects.
• Maintain engineering spaces in a safe, clean, energy-efficient manner.
• Lead and develop engineering staff; manage schedules and tasks.
