Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the resort's engineering operations, manage capital projects, and supervise the engineering team to ensure safety, compliance, and high-quality facilities for guests.

You will drive preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors, manage budgets, and mentor staff to uphold the company's standards and guest experience across all properties.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required with minimum five years of related experience.
• Two or more years of supervisory/management experience.
• Three or more years in mechanical fields (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing certifications required (CPO/CPR/OSHA).
• Knowledge of safety, ADA, EPA, and fire codes; ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall engineering operation of the resort.
• Direct and manage the engineering department, capital projects, and vendor operations.
• Perform daily audits and inspections to meet company standards.
• Advise on projects pertaining to facilities and reserve upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous materials handling and safety training.
