Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee department operations and budgets across the property. You will plan and supervise preventive maintenance, set priorities for maintenance needs, and ensure safe, efficient operation of all building systems.

Responsibilities include managing equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems, plus supervising repairs and staff. Relocation assistance is available at this property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years in engineering/maintenance or related area; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.
• OR 2-year degree in Building/Construction, Engineering, Mechanics or related major; 2 years related experience; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Supports management of Department Operations and Engineering Budgets.
• Assists in planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance programs.
• Helps establish priorities for total property maintenance needs.
• Supervises day-to-day operations of Engineering.
• Manages physical plant: equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems.
• Maintains and operates equipment for optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety.
• Supervises distribution of repair work orders.
• Maintains grounds, meeting rooms, ballrooms, public spaces, restaurants, vehicles and recreation facilities as needed.
• Acts as technical liaison for all departments; supervises Engineering in the Director's absence.
• Recommends or arranges painting, repairs, renovations, and replacement of furnishings/equipment.

Education
