Job summary

Solé Miami is a recently renovated, full-service hotel featuring 222 guestrooms and condos. As Engineering Coordinator, you will assist the Director of Engineering in maintaining all building related systems to ensure the safety of hotel guests, associates, and vendors.

You will follow preventative maintenance procedures, manage engineering records, coordinate vendors, and support DOE in trainings and task assignment to maximize productivity.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in hotel engineering, facilities coordination, or related administrative role preferred.
• Prior hotel or resort experience strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Engineering in maintaining building systems to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Maintain engineering records and reports for monthly Finance audits and OER/GCPM/ACPM as applicable.
• Handle budgeting, inventories, and par levels for engineering supplies.
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and PTO calendars for engineering staff to ensure coverage.
• Coordinate vendor and contractor service and inspections as needed.
• Assist with Preventive Maintenance Programs, Capital Projects, and Life Safety Inspections.
