Moxy South Beach is seeking a friendly Hotel Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor to maintain safety, functionality, and appearance across the property in Miami Beach. You will oversee daily maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure preventive programs are completed for guest rooms and public spaces.

• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities management preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing/electrical schematics is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends/holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues and ensure preventive maintenance programs are completed.
• Maintain interior and exterior of the building, including guest rooms and common areas.
• Coordinate daily maintenance operations, prioritize repairs, and respond to work orders and guest requests.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will oversee and perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, troubleshoot equipment and facility issues, and ensure routine and preventative maintenance programs are completed effectively. You will help maintain the building's interior and exterior, including guest rooms and common areas, while responding to work orders and guest service requests in a timely manner. You will also help coordinate daily maintenance operations, prioritize repairs, and ensure the property remains safe, fuctional, and well-maintained for both guests and TEAM members.

• Prior maintenance experience in a brand or luxury hotel environment is ideal
• Prior supervisor experience
• Familiar with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall PTAC units and electrical systems
• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is also a plus
• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
• Must be able to lift and move objects 50 lbs up to 100 lbs
• Schedule flexibility including weekends, and holidays
• Work independently
• Strong work ethic
