Job summary

Hilton in Hawaii seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead daily outlet operations, ensuring guest service standards, product quality, and cost controls. You will drive profitability, coach a team, and uphold safety and regulatory guidelines in a luxury hotel dining environment.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of F&B management in hotel or fine dining, strong leadership and wine knowledge, and excellent communication, with open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Food & Beverage management experience in a full-service, stand-alone or hotel restaurant.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
• Intermediate wine and liquor knowledge required; advanced knowledge preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Open availability to work varying days and hours including, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, stoop, walk and push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Experience managing within a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Experience managing in a unionized environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations: Manage outlet operations, including guest service standards, product quality, inventory, cost controls, profitability, marketing, budgeting, and enforcing policies and procedures
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences: Monitor service and product quality, assess guest satisfaction, address issues, and identify opportunities to continuously improve the dining experience
• Inspire and develop the team: Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team
• Drive revenue growth: Implement innovative marketing strategies, up-selling techniques, and promotional initiatives to maximize food and beverage sales and profitability
• Recruit and onboard talent: Lead hiring efforts, conduct interviews, and train new team members to maintain high service standards and operational excellence
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
