InnVentures is seeking a Cook for Courtyard San Diego Rancho Bernardo, CA to deliver high-quality dining experiences for guests staying away from home.

You will plan and prepare menu items, oversee portions and costs, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining sanitation and presentation standards. The role requires kitchen experience and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualificações

• Previous food handling or prep/line experience is required.
• You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• You must be able to stand and move around for an entire shift and you must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• You must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit.
• Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and prepare various food items and meals for the restaurant and catered functions.
• Oversee food cost and portion control without sacrificing quality.
• Creatively accommodate special requests from guests.
• Ensure food deliveries are timely, accurate and meet presentation standards.
• Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and kitchen.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Maintain and enforce sanitation and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen area.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
